ago an ancient people archaeologist call the "Mound People" built huge earthen pyramids across
the lands of what is
today the United States. These people were not savages, but were
considered to be civilized. There is archaeological evidence around the
geographical area of Lithia Springs that suggest the ancient Mound People may
have been the originally builders of the granite stone temple and the Smiling
Turtle who guards the springs. Unfortunately, we may never know who built this ancient wonder of the world, but what we do know is that for
